Chicago Typewriter Korean Drama - Yoo Ah In

It looks like Yoo Ah In (Six Flying Dragons) has been offered the lead role in the new tvN drama Chicago Typewriter. Chicago Typewriter follows the stories of writers in the 1930’s during the Japanese occupation and their modern day reincarnations.

Yoo Ah In has been offered the role of a bestselling writer with movie star popularity. The drama comes from the writer of Kill Me, Heal Me and Moon Embracing the Sun.

Now that some plot details are finally coming out about his drama, my interest in it has skyrocketed! I love the 1930’s period so much, and I’m hoping it means part of the drama will actually be set there. So of course I’m now very excited for this. I can’t wait to get some more in depth plot information as well as see how the cast shapes up.

Chicago Typewriter is scheduled to premiere in March on tvN.

I am a huge fan of the 1930’s era as well. A few months back I saw an Animeseries called Joker game. Even though the story at the end was a bit of a let down, the main attraction for me was the late 1930’s time period. This is a show I am definitely going to keep an eye out for 😊

There are not enough dramas set during the 30’s, so I really hope this contains a lot of scenes from the time period. I’ll be anxiously watching how this one develops 🙂
