Special Episode to Be Aired for Korean Drama Missing 9 Ahead of Premiere

Missing 9 Korean Drama - Jung Kyung Ho and Baek Jin Hee

It looks like the new mystery island drama Missing 9 starring Jung Kyung Ho (One More Happy Ending) and Baek Jin Hee (My Daughter Geum Sa Wol) will be airing a special episode ahead of its premiere.

The drama recently pushed back its released date to January 18. Since Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju ends on January 11, the Missing 9 Special Episode will air on Thursday, January 12. The episode will include behind the scenes footage of filming, the set, and interviews with the actors.

Missing 9 is the story of a washed up celebrity (Jung Kyung Ho) who gets stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash along with with his stylist (Baek Jin Hee) and seven other people in the entertainment industry. They go on an intense journey of growth while facing adversity and fighting for survival.

Missing 9 is scheduled to premiere January 18 on MBC.

    Really looking forward to this one. Even though it is not, it almost reminds me a bit about Lost, which used to be one of my favorite tv series. Very excited for this one! 😀

      It reminds me of Lost too, especially seeing the still cuts of them on the island with the plane wreckage strewn about. Lost is also one of my all time favorite American TV series 🙂 I love stories of small groups of people fighting for survival, so I knew Missing 9 sounded perfect for me. I’m still very interested to see how a kdrama takes on a story like this and am very excited!
