Sung Joon Offered a Lead Role in Korean Drama Perfect Wife; Go So Young and Yoon Sang Hyun Confirm

Perfect Wife Korean Drama - Sung Joon

Sung Joon (Madame Antoine) has been offered a lead role in the new KBS drama Perfect Wife. He would be a poor but ambitious lawyer. Perfect Wife is about a family woman who has been through many difficulties in life. Unexpected circumstances give her the chance to heal and rediscover her femininity.

Go So Young (Gumiho) recently confirmed for the wife as well as Yoon Sang Hyun (Shopping King Louie) as the woman’s husband who is a gentle family man but seems to have a crazy side. Also in the cast is Jo Yeo Jung (Divorce Lawyer in Love).

I really took a liking to Sung Joon in his last role in Madame Antoine, and I also like Yoon Sang Hyun. But I’m not completely sold on this drama yet. I think I’ll need more plot details and have to see some trailers to really get a feel for the drama before I decide.

Perfect Wife is looking to air in February 2017 on KBS.

Reading the synopsis for this series has not convinced me to watch this one right now either. But who knows, maybe once the first trailer airs, things will change 😀

Yeah, this is one of those dramas that kind of suffers from a bland title and pretty generic plot description. But it’ll help when I get to actually see the tone of the drama from trailers. So yeah, you never know!
