Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju Korean Drama - Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung

A 6 minute long preview trailer has been released for the new MBC sports drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju starring Nam Joo Hyuk (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Goryeo) and Lee Sung Kyung (Doctors) ahead of tomorrow’s premiere.

There’s a lot to see as we really get to know each of our characters, their personalities, their dreams, and their struggles. The drama has all the makings of a sweet underdog story of relationships, love, and dreams. Get ready for the premiere!

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju is inspired by the story of Olympic gold medalist Jang Mi Ran. The drama tells the story of athletes at a college campus trying to achieve their dreams and experiencing love.

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju is scheduled to premiere November 16 on MBC.

    This is looking good. Even though it is a sportsdrama, I like the look of it, it really feels it’s going to be one of those “feelgood” series that I really enjoy. After a long debate wit myself, I added it to my “to watch list ” lol 😀

      Haha, it finally made the list! Even if its lower on your list, it will be there when you’re in the mood for that particular kind of drama. Luckily, I think there will be a lot of focus on relationships to balance out the sports aspect. It looks very feel good and heartwarming.
