Jin Goo and Uee to Star in Korean Drama Night Light

Night Light Korean Drama - Jin Goo and Uee

Jin Goo (Descendants of the Sun) and Uee (Marriage Contract) have been confirmed to be starring in the new MBC drama Night Light. Uee will play the role of a poor woman who is given the chance to turn her life around. Jin Goo is an intelligent son of a CEO.

Lee Yo Won (Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi) has also been confirmed as a woman who ends up pitted against Uee’s character.

I’m still not sure about this one and will have to wait to see the trailers before I decide. But we do have a very solid cast in place for the drama, and it sounds like it will be full of tension.

Night Light is about people battling against greed and ambition to become successful. It comes from the PD of I Miss You and Thank You and the writer of Last and Temptation.

Night Light is scheduled to premiere in November on MBC.

As I already have way too many shows on my list, I think I will pass on this one for the moment, unless a trailer convinces me otherwise. (Which will probably happen lol 😂)

I will be waiting too, but yes, the trailer could definitely sway me. I’m interested to get a few more plot details since what we have so far isn’t much to go. I just recently completed the drama Police Unit 38 which sounded completely unappealing on paper, but turned out to be quite exciting. So you never know 🙂
