Missing 9 Korean Drama - Jung Yu Mi

Jung Yu Mi (Discovery of Romance) has been offered a leading role in the new drama Missing 9 (previously titled Picnic and Gaia). An offer recently went out to Jung Kyung Ho (One More Happy Ending) to also star in this story of a washed up Kpop star who is now a struggling reporter and his stylist who get stranded together on a deserted island. Jung Yu Mi would play the stylist.

I love Jung Kyung Ho, and I recently enjoyed Jung Yu Mi in her new movie Train to Busan. I’m really hoping these two both sign on for what sounds like could be a very fun and interesting drama.

Already confirmed for the drama in supporting roles are Lee Sun Bin (Police Unit 38) and EXO’s Chanyeol. It comes from the writer of Police Unit 38, Bad Guys, and Vampire Prosecutor.

Missing 9 is looking to air in the beginning of 2017.
