Oh Yeon Seo to Star in Korean Drama My Sassy Girl with Joo Won

Oh Yeon Seo (Come Back Ahjussi) has now been confirmed to be starring in the drama remake of My Sassy Girl alongside Joo Won (Yong Pal). She will play our sassy, trouble-making princess. After the recent casting shake up, I’m glad to see this drama has finally secured its leads. It’s definitely off to a rough start, but I’m still hoping for the best.

Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo should make for a fun and interesting pair as each bring their own set of solid talents to the production. I’m looking forward to seeing them in action!

My Sassy Girl is a sageuk remake of the classic movie of the same name about a quirky, troublemaker princess who gets involved with a city man. It will be completely pre-produced and is looking to air in the beginning of 2017.

I can’t help but feel bad for the original girl casted for the lead role. Also, My Sassy Girl as
1. a drama
2. a sageuk
are two things I am not super optimistic about.
However, I enjoy watching Oh Yeon Seo’s acting and will probably check out the first episode.

  Yeah, I feel really bad for her too. I actually really like the original actress and was looking forward to her in this. But I love Oh Yeon Seo too, and I know she’ll be good in it. This remake already seems so different from the original that I’m pretty much trying to look at it as it’s own story. I do hope things work out for it.

Love her! Go OYS. She’s the definition of “sassy”. Wow already have one great drama to look forward to come 2017…here’s hoping!!
