Park Seo Joon and Go Ara Confirmed to Star in Korean Drama Hwarang

Hwarang Korean Drama - Park Seo Joon and Go Ara

Park Seo Joon (She Was Pretty) and Go Ara (You’re All Surrounded) have been confirmed to star in the new KBS sageuk Hwarang. Hwarang is about the original Hwarang warriors of Silla who are young, elite, and known for being beautiful. Hwarang literally means flower boy. Park Seo Joon will play a man who was born poor, but becomes a brave warrior. Go Ara will play his love interest.

Park Hyung Shik (High Society) has also been cast to play King Jinheung who ruled during the Three Kingdoms period. He secretly joins the Hwarang warriors and is able to develop into a great King.

Hwarang is scheduled to premiere in July on KBS.

Ah, the cast is perfect, I hope the drama story and directing is also excellent so I can enjoy this drama! Park Seo Joon and Go Ara make such a beautiful (drama) couple… Can’t wait!
