Neighborhood Hero Korean Drama - Park Shi Hoo

The new OCN drama Neighborhood Hero starring Park Shi Hoo has released several teaser trailers. We get a nice look at all of the main characters. After having just watched Lee Soo Hyuk as Gwi in Scholar Who Walks the Night, this role looks like quite a departure. I love the youthful innocence he gives off.

Neighborhood Hero tells the story of a former black-ops agent (Park Shi Hoo) who is now a bar owner. After a spike in crime, he decides to step in and help out as a sort of night time vigilante. Along the way, he brings in a young man (Lee Soo Hyuk) who has dreams of becoming a police officer, but is unable to pass the exam.

This looks so good!! From experience OCN does great crime type shows and it looks so visually stylish! And you are so right, Lee SooHyuk looks so fresh faced and adorable rather than super sexy haha :p I hope there isn’t too much focus on romance, because the plot looks so interesting! A great comeback drama for Park Shi Woo after his scandal I think.

  I tend to be very hit or miss with crime shows. I prefer very serialized shows and a lot of crime dramas are very episodic. I hope this has a really good back story running throughout the drama, because I would really like to see Lee Soo Hyuk in this. So different from Scholar, but I think I will like this version too 🙂
