The new SBS drama Remember starring Yoo Seung Ho (I Miss You) and Park Min Young (Healer) has released more intense trailers. The first trailer opens with Yoo Seung Ho having a sad conversation with his father in prison where it is obvious that dad’s Alzheimer’s is really affecting him.
We see an intense exchange between Yoo Seung Ho and mob lawyer Park Sung Woong (Hidden Identity) and also between Park Sung Woong and bad guy Nam Gung Min (Girl Who Sees Smells). We also have a chaotic court room scene at the father’s hearing. The trailer ends with a distraught Yoo Seung Ho.
The next trailer has a lot of the same scenes, but it includes a few more with Park Min Young. We flashback to our couple’s high school days and end with a devastated Yoo Seung Ho standing in the pouring rain at night after his father is taken away.
Yep, this still looks amazing. I love the feel and the intensity. It was good to see a bit of Nam Gung Min too. He already comes off as scary and a bit crazy. I love it. And Yoo Seung Ho is an emotional powerhouse. I see many tears in my future with this drama.
Remember tells the story of an attorney named Seo Jin Woo (Yoo Seung Ho) who suffers from a condition called hyperthymesia which results in having an autobiographical memory where he can remember everything in extreme detail. When his father is falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to death, he sets out to clear his name with the help of his childhood friend (Park Min Young). But then Jin Woo’s excellent memory starts to fade, and it’s a race against time to help his father while he still can.
Remember is scheduled to premiere December 9 on SBS.
