Remember Korean Drama - Yoo Seung Ho

Here is the December edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”  This monthly series is meant to keep you updated on what’s happening in the world of Korean dramas so that you don’t miss out on anything!  December doesn’t have a lot of new dramas premiering, but there are plenty to choose from that premiered last month.

Here are the kdramas you need to keep an eye out for in December 2015:

My Pick:

Remember

Remember Korean Drama - Yoo Seung Ho

Remember marks the return of Yoo Seung Ho to dramaland since being discharged from the military (he will also be starring in Imaginary Cat at the same time).  He is such a talented guy as is his leading lady Park Min Young.  This really is a dream pairing for me.  I love how Yoo Seung Ho looks like he always has in Imaginary Cat, but he looks so grown up in Remember.  I can hardly contain my excitement over this one!

Remember tells the story of an attorney named Seo Jin Woo (Yoo Seung Ho) who suffers from a condition called hyperthymesia which results in having an autobiographical memory where he can remember everything in extreme detail.  When his father is falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to death, he sets out to clear his name with the help of his childhood friend (Park Min Young).  But then Jin Woo’s excellent memory starts to fade, and it’s a race against time to help his father while he still can.

Remember premieres December 9 on SBS.

I nominate “Awl” for your list. Technically over, but not fully subbed. First 9 episodes are excellent. No amnesia, screaming mother-in-laws, or manufactured melodrama.

I definitely plan to check out Awl! So far I’ve only read positive things about it, so I’m excited to check it out. I’m glad you’re enjoying it 🙂
