It looks like the new JTBC drama Madame Antoine starring Han Ye Seul and Sung Joon has pushed back its broadcast date by over two months. Madam Antoine is now scheduled to premiere in February. The drama was originally supposed to begin November 27, but I had wondered if there was some sort of problem since there have been no stills, posters, or trailers released. Apparently, they need more time to get things ready.
To fill the programming gap, JTBC will be rebroadcasting the 2011 fantasy melodrama Padam Padam starring Jung Woo Sung, Han Ji Min, and Kim Bum. If you haven’t seen Padam Padam and you have an opening in your drama schedule, I highly recommend this amazing drama.
So while Madame Antione is still on the schedule, it looks like we will have to wait quite a while to enjoy it.
Madame Antoine tells the story of a fake fortune teller (Han Ye Seul) who has the ability to read other people’s feelings and a top psychologist (Sung Joon) who is amazing at his job, but is insensitive to love. The two will be involved in a “psychological game” with each other as they fall in love.
Madame Antoine is scheduled to premiere in February on JTBC.
