The first trailer is out for Korean drama The Village: Secret of Achiara, and it’s a bit creepy! The story is about a quiet village that is turned upside down when a mysterious corpse is discovered. Leading lady Moon Geun Young will portray a language instructor who is investigating the corpse. Others in the cast include Yook Sung Jae, Shin Eun Kyung, Lee Yeol Eum, Ahn Seo Hyun, and Jang Hee Jin.
We learn a little bit about Moon Geun Young’s character who is reading a newspaper article about the death of a family. As the article burns she cryptically says, “Twenty-three years ago, I died.” So she seems to be deeply involved with whatever crimes she is trying to uncover. Could be an interesting mystery!
The Village: Secret of Achiara will air in October on SBS.

I’m already very interested in all of the townspeople and can’t wait to learn their stories. Yook Sung Jae also makes quite an adorable policeman! Mystery is in the air, and we are left wondering…just who is the killer?

The mystery thickens in the fourth trailer for The Village: Secret of Achiara. We see our potential victim, our leading lady looking for answers, an enthusiastic policeman who seems to be just a bit too excited about the discovery of a corpse, and a family with lots of secrets.

The Village: Secret of Achiara has released a 4 minute preview. As we see in the preview, secrets abound in the small town of Achiara. Moon Geun Young’s character is trying to find answers, and it seems that everyone is suspect. The tone is tense and eerie throughout, and I know I am certainly waiting in suspense to find out who the murderer is!
