More Fun Trailers are Out for Korean Drama Mrs. Cop 2

A couple more trailers are out for the new SBS drama Mrs. Cop 2. Kim Sung Ryung maintains her cool with a dash of humor added in. We also get a few snippets of the rest of our team consisting of Im Seulong, Son Dam Bi, and Kim Min Jong. We get a couple short smoldering looks from bad boy Kim Bum (which is not enough!) in a face off with our tough ajumma cop. I’ve been reluctant, but this drama is calling to me!

Mrs. Cop 2 is about of an FBI trained detective named Go Yoon Jung (Kim Sung Ryung) who is brought in to lead the violent crimes unit and work on a case connected with her past. Her team consists of Im Seulong as a detective who is an upright, no-nonsense kind of guy with some interesting talents, Son Dam Bi as a small town cop who longs to become a detective, and Kim Min Jong as the section chief. Kim Bum is set to play our antagonist, a loan shark who is the director of the biggest loan company around.

Mrs. Cop 2 is scheduled to premiere March 5 on SBS.

I don’t like police procedurals, American or Korean, but I’m now thinking about giving this one a chance, if only for Im Seul Ong. And it does look pretty stylish from the trailers.

  I’m right there with you! I usually avoid police procedurals like the plague. And of course the first season seemed to get a lot of negative feedback. But between Kim Bum, Kim Sung Ryung, and Im Seulong, it’s just begging me to take a peek. If the characters are interesting enough, I could do it, but they have to pretty darn good with well developed story arcs.
