Yook Sung Jae has confirmed he will star in the new SBS drama The Village: Secret of Achiara. The story is about a quiet village that is turned upside down when a mysterious corpse is discovered. Yook Sung Jae will portray a rookie cop named Park Woo Jae. He joins leading lady Moon Geun Young who will portray a language instructor who is also investigating the corpse. Others in the cast include Shin Eun Kyung, Lee Yeol Eum, Ahn Seo Hyun, and Jang Hee Jin.
The Village: Secret of Achiara will air on SBS in October.
