Hwang Min Hyun is officially in talks for season 2 of the Korean drama Study Group. Season 2 was confirmed earlier this year, but no cast details had been released. Hwang Min Hyun starred in the first season and would reprise his character if he accepts.
Study Group was set at one of the worst high schools where a student (Hwang Min Hyun) studies hard but struggles to do well and is only good at fighting. He joins a study group for college entrance exams and ends up defending a friend who is getting bullied using his skills.
Study Group 2 plans to air sometime in 2026 on TVING.
