Shin Min Ah (No Gain, No Love), Lee Jong Suk (Big Mouth), Joo Ji Hoon (The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call), and Lee Se Young (Motel California) have all been confirmed to star in the new Korean drama The Remarried Empress.
The Remarried Empress is based on the web novel of the same name about an empress of the Eastern kingdom who learns that the emperor plans to make his mistress the empress instead, so she divorces him and sets out to become an empress of the Western Kingdom.
We have Shin Min Ah as the empress, Joo Ji Hoon as the emperor of the Eastern kingdom, Lee Jong Suk as the emperor of the Western kingdom, and Lee Se Young as the mistress. The drama comes from the PD of Thirty But Seventeen and Pinocchio.
The Remarried Empress is hoping to air in 2026.
