Here’s another trailer for the upcoming Korean drama The Queen Who Crowns starring Cha Joo Young (The Real Has Come!) and Lee Hyun Wook (Song of the Bandits). It’s pretty dramatic as we see our couple close at first, but then tensions develop after the King begins taking on concubines.
The Queen Who Crowns is about a woman (Cha Joo Young) who who works to help her husband, Lee Bang Won (Lee Hyun Wook), become the king and create a new regime. But he then takes on a lot of concubines which puts the couple at odds, and he tries to keep the queen in check.
The Queen Who Crowns is scheduled to premiere January 6 on TVING.
