Kim Hee Ae (Queenmaker) has accepted a lead role in the new Korean drama The Whirlwind. The Whirlwind is a political thriller about a Prime Minister fighting against corruption and the Deputy Prime Minister of Economy who battles against him.
Kim Hee Ae will play the Deputy Prime Minister of Economy. She will be joined by Sol Kyung Gu (Kill Boksoon) who will play the Prime Minister.
The Whirlwind is looking to air later in 2023 on Netflix.
