Nam Goong Min (One Dollar Lawyer) has accepted a starring role in the upcoming Korean drama Lovers. Lovers is a historical romance set during the Joseon dynasty during wartime about a man with a tragic past and no desire to marry who falls for a charming noblewoman with multiple failed marriages who wants to love again.
Nam Goong Min will play the man with a tragic past. He will be joined by Ahn Eun JinThe Good Bad Mother) who will play the charming noblewoman.
Lovers plans to air in the second half of 2023 on MBC.

NMG in a romantic sageuk? Innnteresting. That’s a first for him. I had to check if he’s ever been in a sageuk in the first place and looks like there’s just one – Gu Am Heo Joon, a supporting role. Haven’t seen that one, so no idea how he’ll fit in a historical.
