Our first teaser trailer is out for the new Korean drama The Glory starring Song Hye Kyo (Encounter) and Lee Do Hyun (Melancholia). It comes from hit writer Kim Eun Sook who penned The King: Eternal Monarch, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin: The Lonely and Great God, and Descendants of the Sun. The trailer shows Song Hye Kyo solemnly stating there will be “no mercy, but also no glory.”
The Glory is a revenge drama about a woman (Song Hye Kyo) who is bullied so badly in high school that she had to drop out. She went on to become a teacher, and the bully’s child ends up becoming her student. She sets out to get revenge on her bully and those who stood by.
The Glory is scheduled to premiere December 30 on Netflix.
