Yang Se Jong (My Country: The New Age) is in talks for a lead role in the upcoming Korean drama The Girl Downstairs. The Girl Downstairs is based on a popular webtoon about an ex-idol who ends up living in shared housing with a college freshman.
Yang Se Jong would play the college freshman. Suzy (Start-Up) is still considering the other lead role as the ex-idol. Lee Yoo Bi (Yumi’s Cells) is also considering an unspecified role.
The Girl Downstairs will air on Netflix.
