We have a new trailer to check out for the upcoming Korean drama Bloody Heart starring Lee Joon (My Father is Strange), Kang Han Na (My Roommate is a Gumiho), and Jang Hyuk (Tell Me What You Saw). It is filled with turmoil and tears as our leads find themselves in difficult circumstances.
Bloody Heart is about a man (Lee Joon) who becomes the king of Joseon and desires an absolute monarchy. He falls for a free-spirited woman (Kang Ha Na) and comes into conflict with a very powerful man (Jang Hyuk).
Bloody Heart is scheduled to premiere May 2 on KBS.

I cannot wait to have Jang Hyuk in something new on my screen again. It’s hard to believe he hasn’t done anything since Tell Me What You Saw because I’ve been so involved in rewatches of his older dramas lately that I hadn’t realized we haven’t had anything from him for a while. (The movie Swordsman doesn’t count because he filmed it so long ago and it took a while to release.) But there was a time when Hyuky did back-to-back-to back dramas so much so that I used to be worried that he would damage his health. Anyway, all that to say I’m anxiously awaiting seeing him again.

Yes, he used to be soooo busy! I too remember him frequently doing at least 2 dramas a year. It’s probably good he’s slowed up a bit, but I too am glad to see him back! 😍
