Kim Se Jeong Takes Lead Role in “Today’s Webtoon”

Today's Webtoon Korean Drama - Kim Se Jeong

Kim Se Jeong (The Uncanny Counter) has taken a lead role in the upcoming Korean drama Today’s Webtoon. Today’s Webtoon is a remake of the Japanese drama Sleepeeer Hit! and is about a rookie who joins a webtoon editorial department and struggles to succeed along with her coworkers.

She will play the rookie who joins the webtoon editorial department. She joins Nam Yoon Su (The King’s Affection) who will play a sales team employee.

Today’s Webtoon is hoping to air in the second half of 2022 on SBS.

    I loved the Japanese original, so I won’t be tuning in on this one. Korean remakes of jdramas hardly ever work for me. There’s just something essential missing in most of them.

      I haven’t see the original, so this one might work for me. Luckily, I usually do well with kdrama remakes when I haven’t seen the original. I’m about to be on the flip side of that though with the kdrama remake of the Taiwanese Someday or One Day. I do tend to enjoy the overall kdrama style, but that drama was a 10 from me, so probably impossible to live up to. I’m rooting for the new one though, hehe 😂
