Kim Nam Gil Offered Lead Role in “Island”

Hot Blood Priest Korean Drama - Kim Nam GilKim Nam Gil (The Fiery Priest) has been offered a lead role in the new Korean drama Island. He would play a monster hunter who wants to end his immortal life. Seo Ye Ji (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay) is still considering the other lead role of a wealthy woman exiled to Jeju Island.

Island is a fantasy mystery about the daughter of a wealthy family who is exiled to Jeju Island and is targeted by a creature that is trying to destroy humans. She meets a man hunting the creature, and the pair team up.

Island is looking to air on OCN in the first half of 2021.

    The doctor things might bother you, but it’s an all-in drama that touches every little thing in a drama: romance, comedy, fantasy (and time travel at that) and mystery.
