River Where the Moon Rises Korean Drama - Ji Soo and Kim So Hyun

Ji Soo (When I Was the Most Beautiful) has been offered a starring role in the upcoming Korean historical drama River Where the Moon Rises (previously known as Cut By the Heart).

River Where the Moon Rises is set during the Goguryeo era and is about an ambitious princess who uses a foolish man’s feelings to her advantage and experiences conflicting emotions. Kim So Hyun (The Tale of Nokdu) has been confirmed to play the princess while Ji Soo would play the foolish man.

Kang Ha Neul (When the Camellia Blooms) will make a special appearance as a general who is Ji Soo’s father. The drama comes from the writer of Woman of 9.9 Billion Won and the PD of King Maker: The Change of Destiny.

River Where the Moon Rises has plans to air sometime in 2021.

One of the first things I want to do after I’ve finished Train, Search and Tale of the Nine Tailed, is watch myself a historical drama. I know I’ve said this a few times now but I really do. As for this one, it sounds interesting, but want to find out more if it’s going down the comedy or more serious route🤔😊

You do definitely pick a historical to watch. It’s a wonderful genre, especially if you get a really good one 🙂 This is one I’ll for sure be watching. I love these two as well as that it’s actually set during the Goguryeo period which isn’t near as common. Pretty much aside from a traditional political historical, I’m game for about anything else in the genre 🙂

If Ji Soo accepts, then it will be the Page Turner teens turn big stars’ reunion. 😊😍

It’s the reunion I’ve been waiting for! hehe We didn’t get enough of them in Page Turner, so I would love to see this duo reunite, especially in a historical like this one 🙂

But will have to set the right mood for historicals. Hehe.
