We’re making our way to August and that brings a lot of new choices for those kdramas that we love so much. Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this August 2020 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”

1. Alice
A time travel drama with Joo Won? I’m in! We’ve got him paired with Kim Hee Sun in a genre I love. The trailers also look slick, so I’m excited to see what we get with this one.
Alice is a sci-fi drama about a detective (Joo Won) who discovers something called Alice that allows time travelers to come from the future, and he is reunited with a woman (Kim Hee Sun) who died many years ago.
Alice is scheduled to premiere August 28 on SBS.

2. When I Was the Most Beautiful
When I Was the Most Beautiful is about a woman (Im Soo Hyang) trying to heal from the pain of her past who gets involved in a love triangle with two brothers (Ha Suk Jin and Ji Soo).
When I Was the Most Beautiful is scheduled to premiere August 19 on MBC.
3. Do You Like Brahms?
Do You Like Brahms? tells the stories of students at a prestigious music school as they practice, perform, and have competitions. Starring Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin
Do You Like Brahms? is scheduled to premiere August 31 on SBS.
4. Lonely Enough to Love
Lonely Enough to Love is a romance about a group of people living together who want to be in relationships and not be lonely but don’t want things to be too serious including a psychiatrist (Ji Hyun Woo) and a freelance copy editor (Kim So Eun).
Lonely Enough to Love is scheduled to premiere August 11 on MBC.
5. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol
Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol follows the romance between a downtrodden pianist (Go Ara) and a mysterious part time worker (Lee Jae Wook).
o Do Sol Sol La La Sol is scheduled to premiere in August on KBS.
6. Secret Forest 2
Secret Forest 2 is about cold prosecutor (Jo Seung Woo) and a kind police detective (Bae Doo Na) who team up to solve cases in the midst of a conflict between the prosecutor’s office and the police.
Secret Forest 2 is scheduled to premiere August 15 on tvN.
7. Zombie Detective
Zombie Detective is a comedy crime drama about a new zombie (Choi Jin Hyuk) who has lost his memories and gets the opportunity to take on the identity of a detective as he struggles to survive.
Zombie Detective is scheduled to premiere August 31 on KBS.
8. Missing: The Other Side
Missing: The Other Side is a mystery thriller about a town of souls that went missing when they were alive. A group of people including a conman (Go Soo) who uses his skills to help others and his assistant (Ahn So Hee) try to solve the cases surrounding them as they encounter a mysterious man (Heo Joon Ho) who connects the town and the outside world.
Missing: The Other Side is scheduled to premiere in August on OCN.

9. Flower of Evil
Flower of Evil is a romance thriller about an emotionless psychopath (Lee Joon Gi) who changes his identity and tries to leave his dark past behind him that marries a homicide detective (Moon Chae Won) who is trying to uncover the truth.
Flower of Evil airs Wednesday and Thursday on tvN.
10. Graceful Friends
Graceful Friends focuses on a group of married couples whose lives are turned upside down by a murder. Starring Song Yoon Ah and Yoo Joon Sang
Graceful Friends airs Friday and Saturday on JTBC.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is a healing romance that tells the story of a health worker (Kim Soo Hyun) in the psychiatric ward whose fate becomes intertwined with a writer (Seo Ye Ji) with Antisocial Personality Disorder as they fall in love.
It’s Okay to Not Be Okay airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.
To All the Guys Who Loved Me
To All the Guys Who Loved Me is a romantic comedy about a woman (Hwang Jung Eum) who wants to stay single after being hurt in the past and a man (Yoon Hyun Min) who wants to change his relationship with her through love.
To All the Guys Who Loved Me airs Monday and Tuesday on KBS.
Train
Train is a sci-fi romance about about a detective (Yoon Shi Yoon) whose loved one is murdered by a serial killer, but he discovers a parallel world where she is still alive and works to protect her.
Train airs Saturday and Sunday on OCN.
Chip In
Chip In follows the battle for the property of a famous painter that is worth billions of won as his daughter (Kim Hye Joon) seeks the truth in the matter.
Chip In airs Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.
Was it Love?
Was it Love? is about an unlucky movie producer (Song Ji Hyo) who is a single mother. Her life then gets shaken up after meeting four men (Son Ho Jun, Song Jong Ho, Kim Min Joon, Koo Ja Sung).
Was it Love? airs Wednesday and Thursday on JTBC.
Into the Ring
Into the Ring is an office romantic comedy about a confident and determined woman (Nana) who handles civil complaints that falls in love with a by-the-books civil servant (Park Sung Hoon).
Into the Ring airs Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.
The Good Detective
The Good Detective is about two detectives (Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo) and a reporter (Lee Elijah) trying to expose the truth while others try to cover it up.
The Good Detective airs Monday and Tuesday on JTBC.
