Backstreet Rookie Korean Drama - Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung

We’ve got a pretty cute first trailer out for the upcoming Korean drama Backstreet Rookie (also known as Convenience Store Saet Byul) starring Ji Chang Wook (Melting Me Softly) and Kim Yoo Jung (Clean With Passion For Now). It features them getting into all sorts of hi-jinks at the convenience store they work at. Very fun!

Backstreet Rookie is set in a 24 hour convenience store and tells the story of a quirky part time worker (Kim Yoo Jung) and her clumsy manager (Ji Chang Wook).

Backstreet Rookie is scheduled to premiere in June on SBS.

    Yes. That’s the one. I dropped that one and thought it was so bad. And I was looking forward to it so much being JCW’s army come back project.

      Fortunately I enjoyed Metling Me Softly. 😍
      Well this one (Convenient Store) hs a completely different story though still a romcom. It’s pretty much of a usual typical kind of romcom. So it will all be about execution then. And we all know both JCW and Kim Yo Jung could nail every character. 😀
