Uhm Ki Joon (Thoracic Surgery) has signed onto the upcoming Korean drama Penthouse where he will play an investment CEO. This is the same role that Shin Sung Rok (Perfume) previously stepped down from. I can definitely see Uhm Ki Joon in a series like this.
Still considering lead roles are Eugene (All About My Mom), Lee Ji Ah (The Ghost Detective), and Kim So Yeon (Mother of Mine).
Penthouse is about a woman’s ambitious goal to rise into high society through the real estate business, and she will do anything to succeed, even if she becomes a monster along the way. The drama comes from the writer as well as the PD of The Last Empress.
Penthouse is has plans to air later in 2020 on SBS.
