The King: Eternal Monarch Korean Drama - Lee Min Ho

We’ve got our first trailer out for the highly anticipated Korean drama The King: Eternal Monarch starring Lee Min Ho (Legend of the Blue Sea) and Kim Go Eun (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God).

It builds up the excitement as Lee Min Ho makes an appearance and declares he is the emperor of the Korean Empire with an intense look. I’m thrilled to see him back and in a new drama from a writer I usually enjoy!

The King: Eternal Monarch is about parallel worlds with one being the Empire of Korea and the other the Republic of Korea. The emperor (Lee Min Ho) of the Korean Empire teams up with a detective (Kim Go Eun) from the Republic of Korea to try and close the door between the worlds. The drama comes from writer Kim Eun Sook of Mr. Sunshine and Goblin: The Great and Lonely God.

The King: Eternal Monarch is planning to air in the first half of 2020 on SBS.
