Tale of Gumiho Korean Drama - Kim Bum

This one is looking better and better! Kim Bum (Mrs. Cop 2) has now been offered a role in the upcoming Korean drama Tale of Gumiho starring Lee Dong Wook (Strangers From Hell) and Jo Bo Ah (Forest). His potential role hasn’t been specified yet, but no matter what it is, I would be thrilled to see him in this production with two wonderful leads already confirmed.

Tale of Gumiho is about a gumiho (Lee Dong Wook) who handles problems between the living world and the underworld and the PD (Jo Bo Ah) of a program about urban legends who is trying to prove the gumiho is real.

Tale of Gumiho is planning to air later in 2020 on tvN.

This was one of my favorite dramas because of the magic chemistry between Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min A and the stellar writing of the Hong sisters in their prime. I am not sure I want a new version. Of course remakes are the easy button for the entertainment industry.

  My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is my all time favorite dramas, so I know why you love it too 🙂 Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah were both perfection in it, and it really won me over for checking out future Hong sisters’ projects.
  
  Luckily, I don’t think this one is supposed to be a remake or related in any way. The guy is the gumiho here and seems to have a job handling issues with the living world and the underworld while the girl is a TV show PD trying to find the truth of the gumiho. So it seems pretty different, which is good, because I don’t think you could ever recreate the magic that was My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. I’m hoping we get some rom-com fun in the same vain though 🙂
