Secret Forest Korean Drama - Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na

Bae Doo Na (Kingdom) is now confirmed to be joining Jo Seung Woo (Life) for season 2 of the hit drama Secret Forest (or Stranger) where they will reprise their roles. Season 1’s writer will return with a new PD at the helm whose works include Uncontrollably Fond and The Princess’ Man.

Secret Forest was about a cold prosecutor (Jo Seung Woo) who was unable to feel emotions whose hunt for a serial killer led him to his own office that is filled with corruption. He teamed up with a kind police detective (Bae Doo Na) to solve the case.

Secret Forest 2 is looking to air sometime in 2020 on tvN.

Yessss! You really need those two and the writer to return to make this work. The PD is bit of a question mark though. The Princess’ Man wasn’t too bad as far as I can remember and he does have couple of pretty nice drama specials on his resume so… I hope this turns out as good as season 1. 🙂

I thought you would like this 🙂 I didn’t watch much of the first season, but I know how important it is to get the same cast back as well the same writer. Changing the PD isn’t as bad, but it can definitely effect the overall execution. Hopefully, this PD does well though to produce a good second season for everyone 🙂
