Kim Rae Won is now considering a lead role in the new Korean drama LUCA, short for Last Universal Common Ancestor. The role had previously been offered to Ji Chang Wook, but he ultimately turned it down.
LUCA focuses on genetics and the idea that all species descended from a common ancestor. It comes from the writer of The Package and Chuno and the PD of The Guest and Voice.
LUCA is looking to air sometime in 2020 on tvN.
So sad that Ji Chang Wook oppa turned this one down. Thus making me pass on it. 🙁 😀
I was sad he turned it down too, but at least we get to see him in the rom-com with Kim Yoo Jung though 🙂
I think Kim Rae Won will do justice to the role. I thinks it fits him. Looking forward to this drama series.
