Nam Joo Hyuk (The Light in Your Eyes) and Suzy (Vagabond) are in talks to star in the upcoming Korean drama Sandbox. Sandbox is about a woman trying to achieve her dreams by beginning her own start-up company in the midst of Korea’s Silicon Valley and a man with a struggling start-up company.
Suzy would play the woman hoping to start her own company, and Nam Joo Hyuk would be the man whose own start-up company is struggling. It comes from writer Park Hye Ryun of While You Were Sleeping and Pinocchio.
The writer of this drama is someone who always causes me to perk up as I always really enjoy her dramas. She creates interesting characters and stories with a lot of heart. Then if we can get Nam Joo Hyuk and Suzy to star, we’ll really be set!
Sandbox is planning to air in mid-2020 on tvN.
