Im Joo Hwan Takes Role in “The Game: Towards Midnight”

Bride of the Water God Korean Drama - Im Joo Hwan Im Joo Hwan (The Great Show) has now taken a role in the new Korean drama The Game: Towards Midnight which is set to star 2PM’s Taecyeon (Save Me) and Lee Yeon Hee (Package). He will play a forensic medical examiner. Ah, second lead yet again! Maybe someday he’ll move back up to leading man status. Still waiting!

The Game: Towards Midnight is a mystery melodrama that tells the story of a man (Taecyeon) who has the ability to see when death is coming to people, but he meets a detective (Lee Yeon Hee) whose death he is unable to see.

The Game: Towards Midnight is planning to air in the first half of 2020 on MBC.

      Yes he was 🙂 He had a few nice lead roles years ago (I really liked him in What’s Up), but it seems he’s been relegated to second lead now. It’s disappointing because he’s still young and such a good actor. He’s by far one of the most interesting second leads though, so I know to expect good stuff when he is cast. Still hoping he steps back into a lead role sometime 🙂
