“Arthdal Chronicles” Dips and Then Rises in Ratings

Arthdal Chronicles Korean Drama - Song Joong Ki

Arthdal Chronicles had an up and down kind of week in Nielsen drama ratings. It dipped to 4.8% for episode 15 on Saturday, but then it had a nice recovery as it climbed up to 7.0% for episode 16 on Sunday, finishing the weekend strong. And now we just have one week left to go!

Arthdal Chronicles is an epic historical set in ancient times with a story that blends myth and history as a power struggle ensues during the founding of the nation of Gojoseon. It stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Ji Won, Jang  Dong Gun, and Kim Ok Bin.

    That was an awesome episode with a lot of plot development.

    There is a lot to take in. It is difficult to keep track about every tribe and their mythology and spirituality, but it is very important. Also, there are some quite violent scenes. 2 episodes left, I hope the ending is fitting.

    By the way, My Country will be streaming on Netflix. Super excited about it!

      Whew! I was quite surprised by how violent some of the scenes were, pretty quickly too. Thought this might be an OCN drama for a second, lol 😉 I really like the world and the mythology so far. I don’t like excessive politics and bad guy scheming though, which these writers do a lot of. So we’ll see how I fare overall.

      And yay! I’m so glad Netflix picked up My Country! I was crossing my fingers that someone just had to pick it up 🙂
