Nam Goong Min (Doctor Prisoner) is confirmed for the new Korean drama Stove League where he will play a manger of a baseball team. Also set to star is Park Eun Bin (Ghost Detective) who will play an operations manager of the baseball team. We’ve definitely got a solid duo for this one!
Stove League is about a losing major league baseball team that has a new manager (Nam Goong Min) come in to help them.
Stove League is hoping to air in November on SBS.
I like both leads and we haven’t had a sports themed kdrama in ages, so yes, a tentative “maybe”. 😊 Hopefully it’ll be a heart warming and fun underdog story.
Yep, solid leads here 🙂 We definitely don’t see sports dramas very often. I watched a 4 ep speed skating themed drama last year, but I don’t even remember the last time I saw a full length sports themed kdrama. I guess I could count Weightlifting Fairy. But I’m also hoping for a good underdog story with this one 🙂
