Jung Kyung Ho Considering Starring Role in “Doctor Playbook”

Doctor Playbook Korean Drama - Jung Kyung Ho

It looks like Jung Kyung Ho (When the Devil Calls Your Name) is already considering his next role in the form of the drama Doctor Playbook. Also still considering starring roles are Jo Jung Suk (Nokdu Flower) and Yoo Yeon Seok (Mr. Sunshine). Talk about a cast if all of these actors sign on!

Doctor Playbook follows the lives and struggles of doctors, nurses, and patients in a hospital. It comes from the PD of the Reply series and Prison Playbook.

Doctor Playbook is planning to air on tvN.

Always cool to see him considering new roles…just a little bit sad that it seems to be another hospital drama lol😂

Oh my god! What a cast!
Two of my favorites. And there’s also Yoo Yoon Seok. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Why does it have be another medical drama? On the other hand, I did like Prison Playbook, so maybe this will be good too.

I know! So many of them these days, and that’s a genre I almost never watch. If you do watch it, I’m sure it will be good though considering the team behind it.

The reason I don’t like medical dramas too much is that they tend to be more episodic (patient of the week) rather than serialized. However, Prison Playbook was a pleasant surprise, so hopefully this drama will be too. The same team is also behind Reply/Answer Me series, so it’s another hopeful sign.

That’s half of the reason I don’t care for them either (the other is that I’m a bit squeamish, lol). I just don’t like episodic. But it’s definitely a solid team who produces good shows. I still have Prison Playbook on my watch list 🙂
