I started with When the devil calls your Name this saturday. So far I don’t really know yet what to make of it. The acting is terrific as always but it at times also has a bit of a weird vibe. That said I have only seen one episode so far. I’m definitely not disliking it, so we shall see how it will progress😊

Sometimes it does take a few eps for a show to really settle in. I’ve definitely seen my fair share of dramas where the first couple eps are quite different from the rest of the show as they set things up. Hopefully, it quickly improves though. I know with Jung Kyung Ho and Park Sung Woong in the cast, I would anticipated some intense acting down the road 🙂

Yeah, I’m not one to give up on shows after 1 or 2 episodes, but usually stick around for the long run. The acting already is top notch!😊 The story is going a bit all over the place and not sure where it’s going yet, but I guess that is a good thing 😊 Look forward to seeing more of the series! 😊

Yeah, I usually try to give a show 3-4 eps (unless I’m just REALLY not feeling it). And then I am guilty of sticking out shows that I really should have dropped 😛 But I’ve also found plenty of great dramas that started out slow or weird and then got really good. So hoping that’s the case with this series 🙂

Well…we shall see. The acting alone makes it very worthwhile for me, but of course I will let you know my eventual thoughts on this! 😊

            Please do 🙂

Viki seems to be getting quite a lot of content now. That’s good. We need more than Netflix to cater for us. Besides Viki subs are way better.

I haven’t yet had chance to watch Devil but I’m trying to clear some space for it next weekend. I might check out Melo Suits Me as well when it airs. It kinda sounds like something that might be my cup of tea.

    1. Kay Avatar

Yes, they really do seem to be getting a lot of content now, which is great. I agree, I prefer Viki’s subs too. Netflix doesn’t carry any of the nuances that Viki subs do.

I hope When the Devil Calls Your Name goes well for you. I’m really looking forward to that one. Jung Kyung Ho and Park Sung Woong are an amazing duo 🙂

Okay, I confess…all of them? lol There is nothing better than K-dramas.

I feel you! Let’s just watch them all! And I wholeheartedly agree. There really is nothing better than kdramas 🙂

Viki also has Mr. Temporary (Class of Lies), which started last month. I am waiting for more episodes to pile up before watching. High school bullies are definitely not my cup of tea, but I can’t say no to bullies being taught a lesson by an undercover lawyer!

    1. Kay Avatar

Yes, that’s one I’m interested in too. I included it in my July round up 🙂 I also love the undercover concept, and it looks really intriguing. I’ll be waiting for the eps to pile up too 🙂

I haven’t seen any of these except for Hotel Del Luna. Really loving that show right now and I am keeping up with it as episodes release every weekend. I am excited for Melo is my Nature to air. I think I will be keeping up with that show every week as well. I remember reading the description for I Wanna Hear You Sing and thought it was a very unique storyline so I might give that a try. I like Ong as well from produce and Wanna One so it’s cool to see him acting. I have to check out his other drama as well.

Viki has been getting a nice selection these days. I’ll go for Hotel Del Luna, When the Devil Calls Your Name and maybe I Wanna Hear Your Song, Welcome 2 Life, and Moment of Eighteen. Lots to squeeze in 🙂

I watched descendents of the sun and Healer and these two are my favorite. Now I’m fully become the fan of kdramas.. I just wrote a review on DOTS. Kindly read it

    1. Kay Avatar

Both excellent dramas 🙂 I can see how they would help you become a fan of kdramas. And I checked out your review. It was a nice read 🙂

          You’re welcome 🙂

  7. Hey Jordie Avatar

I’ve been wanting to watch “When the Devil Calls your Name” It looked really good. There have been so many good dramas lately that it’s hard to keep up lol. I’m not sure if you’ve recommended it already, but I’m watching Graceful Family right now and it so good!

    1. Kay Avatar

I recently finished When the Devil Calls Your Name, and it was pretty good 🙂 I think I’m going to go for Graceful Family after I finish watching my current drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung. I keep hearing good things about it, and it looks like a promising melo. I know what you mean though, it’s soooo hard to keep up with all of these dramas!
