Another trailer has been released for upcoming Korean drama When the Devil Calls Your Name starring Jung Kyung Ho (Life on Mars), Park Sung Woong (The Smile Has Left Your Eyes), and Lee Seol (Bad Detective).
This one shows Jung Kyung Ho in the fiery room, but then the fire disappears. He steps through a door which leads outside where he encounters Park Sung Woong. The contract is mentioned, and Jung Kyung Ho knows he has made a deal with the devil. I really loved this trailer!
When the Devil Calls Your Name is about a star music composer (Jung Kyung Ho) who sold his soul to the devil to gain success. But when the time comes to keep his end of the bargain and he finds out a woman’s (Lee Seol) talent was stolen for him, they are left desperately trying to save themselves.
When the Devil Calls Your Name is scheduled to premiere July 31 on tvN.

That you did! I was hoping you would catch this one since I knew it would make it on to your list fast, hehe. I love the plot for this one, and the trailer looks fantastic. Already loving both Jung Kyung Ho and Park Sung Woong. They will be great pitted against each other 🙂

I really can’t wait for this to start. I hope it will be on Viki, since I now have access to everything that is released there. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Will be starting with Watcher tomorrow. Really looking forward to that one! 😊

I’m hoping so too. I would imagine someone will pick it up, and it’s usually Netflix or Viki that get tvN dramas. A new player in the kdrama streaming game is OnDemandKorea. They’ve been around for a while but mostly had unsubbed dramas with some older ones subbed in English. They have picked up some newer ones recently including a few OCN dramas, which is a plus since the others don’t get that many from OCN 🙂 Let me know what you think about Watcher. I’m still undecided on that one.

I think the trailer linked is the wrong one? That one is the first trailer, the second trailer you talk about is this one I believe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdqiB7Unq5g

Thank you for catching that! I had the links to both trailers bookmarked and used the wrong one. It’s fixed now 🙂
