Woo Do Hwan Joins “The King: The Eternal Monarch”

The King: The Eternal Monarch - Woo Do Hwan

Woo Do Hwan (Great Seducer) has now joined the cast of the new parallel worlds Korean drama The King: The Eternal Monarch which is set already set to star Lee Min Ho (Legend of the Blue Sea) and Kim Go Eun (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God). He will play dual roles as Lee Min Ho’s bodyguard in one world and a public service worker in another. It looks like we have a very solid cast in place for this one.

The King: The Eternal Monarch is about parallel worlds with one being the Empire of Korea and the other the Republic of Korea. The emperor (Lee Min Ho) of the Korean Empire teams up with a detective (Kim Go Eun) from the Republic of Korea to try and close the door between the worlds. It comes from writer Kim Eun Sook of hit dramas such as Mr. Sunshine, Goblin: The Great and Lonely God, and Descendants of the Sun.

The King: The Eternal Monarch is planning to air in the first half of 2020.

Hmmmm… I have a feeling he may well outshine the lead. He’s a better actor than LMH, imho.

Hmm, that’d be hard for me to decide. I like Lee Min Ho’s acting a lot and Woo Do Hwan is really good. I think there styles are too different for me to decide. I do like Lee Min Ho more though, so maybe I’ll just go with him for that reason, lol 😉
