The King: The Eternal Monarch - Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun

And we have our leading lady! Kim Go Eun (Goblin: The Lonely and Great God) is now confirmed to star alongside Lee Min Ho (Legend of the Blue Sea) in the upcoming Korean drama The King: The  Eternal Monarch. She takes on two roles including a detective and a criminal with Lee Min Ho playing an emperor. So reunions all around for this drama! We are now well on our way as we watch this highly anticipated drama take shape.

The King: The Eternal Monarch is about parallel worlds with one being the Empire of Korea and the other the Republic of Korea. The emperor (Lee Min Ho) of the Korean Empire teams up with a detective (Kim Go Eun) from the Republic of Korea to try and close the door between the worlds. It comes from writer Kim Eun Sook of hit dramas such as Mr. Sunshine, Goblin: The Great and Lonely God, and Descendants of the Sun.

The King: The Eternal Monarch is planning to air in the first half of 2020.
