Min Do Hee Takes Starring Role in “Jo Mi Ryo”

Jo Mi Ryo Korean Drama - Min Do Hee

It looks like Min Do Hee (Clean With Passion For Now) has snagged herself a lead role in the upcoming Korean Drama Jo Mi Ryo. Jo Mi Ryo is about a woman who needs time to heal and to get away from life so she goes to an island, starts a restaurant, and meets some very interesting people. She will play the main character, Jo Mi Ryo.

I’ve been hoping for a while now to see Do Hee in a lead role. She pretty much always plays supporting characters like the close friend of the main female lead. She’s always really good, so I’m glad the opportunity has arisen for her to step into the spotlight.

Jo Mi Ryo is looking to air in the second half of 2019.

  1. Same here! I have really liked her in everything I have seen her in and was wondering when/if she would ever get a lead role. I wish there were more times when supporting characters finally get a chance at a lead role.

Yep, I’ve been hoping she would get one for a while and was starting to wonder if the opportunity would ever arise. I agree, there are so many great actors who usually play supporting characters who deserve to get some lead roles. At lease Do Hee succeeded! 🙂
