Kim Sang Joong (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People) is set to star in the new Korean drama The Banker. It is a remake of a Japanese drama about a bank auditor who fights for policy change and justice during the collapse of an economic bubble.
He will be joined by Choi Shi Ra (Goodbye to Goodbye) and Yoo Dong Geun (Shall We Live Together) who will star alongside him. It’s great to see a veteran cast in place for a mini-series. Not sure if the plot will be my cup of tea, but I’m tempted to give it a look just for the amazing performance I know Kim Sang Joong will give.
The Banker is looking to air in March on MBC.
