Spring Night Korean Drama - Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin

It looks like Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin have been offered lead roles in the upcoming Korean drama Spring Night. Spring Night is about a couple who begin to think about marriage which allows them to look back on their relationship and see it in a new light.

This would be a reunion for the couple who just starred together in Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food last year. The same PD and writer on even on board for the project. That would be quite the reunion of the entire team if they sign on!

Spring Night is planning to air in the spring on MBC.

I didn’t make it through that one, but from what I heard, I think everyone was wishing the same.

It had it’s moments. However, the writers just turned her weak.

I watched the first few eps and thought that Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin were adorable. But the style and tone of the drama were just not my thing so I moved on. Everyone was lamenting the second half of the drama though. Maybe a reunion could leave a better impression.

Absolutely, Kay, the drama got progressively worse but the chemistry between the two was why I stuck around. And I can never get over how much control kdrama parents have over adult children which this drama had in spades. Definitely want to see them do something again but really hoping for a better written story next time.

Yep, I read about how much influence the parents had. I know a lot of that is cultural, but it sounded pretty extreme in this one. Yes, maybe the team could come together for something better the next time around!
