“The Crowned Clown” Sees Nice Increases in Ratings for Week Two

The Crowned Clown (The Man Who Became King) Korean Drama - Yeo Jin Goo

After a great start last week for the tvN drama The Crowned Clown (also known as Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King) starring Yeo Jin Goo (Reunited Worlds) and Lee Se Young (Hwayugi), this week brought some nice increases in Nielsen drama ratings. It rose up to 8.0% for episode 3 and then increased again to 8.9% for episode 4. Those are certainly some good numbers for week two!

The Crowned Clown follows the story of a king (Yeo Jin Goo) who fears for his life so he brings in a kind look-a-like clown to stand in for him. A love triangle will also ensue between the two and the queen (Lee Se Young).

The Crowned Clown airs Monday and Tuesday on tvN.

I loved first two episodes. This week’s episodes were not that thrilling and skipped little too. I really love that music that plays at the starting of ep 1 and 3.

It’s so good! Sometimes it can get slow, but it makes up for it with the intensity in some scenes.
