I don’t have enough time to watch near as much as I would like though. I catch Running Man when I can and I really hope to get in a couple of the music survival shows and a couple with actors I enjoy sometime. Do you have some fav variety shows?

I think it takes a lot of discipline and time management to do what we do hahaha.
I juggle watching kdrama, korean variety and I’m very much updated with kpop as well. I’m in love with korean culture.
My starter pack for music survival shows would probably be the produce series. I’ve seen season 1 and 2 and all the winners are pretty hot. Kang Daniel(season 2)to name one.
For korean variety I enjoy watching Knowing brothers but it really depends on the guest. My all time fav korean variety now a days is I live alone. They won a lot of awards in this year’s MBC entertainment awards. The chemistry between the cast is amazing. Although it’s quite lengthy I suggest you start watching from ep 189. You won’t miss much.

Oh yes, time management is a must! hehe 🙂 Although my main focus is on kdrama, I also try to stay pretty up on kpop too. Would love have site dedicated to that also, but well, there’s not enough time in a day, lol. So I just enjoy it as a fan.
Yep, the Produce series are definitely on my watch list. I’d probably stat with season 2. I’ll have to put I Live Alone on my list. It did have a really successful year 🙂

I try to back off from all the fan wars coz I find some fans too extreme. But I do enjoy their music and they have a great variety sense as well.
It would be great if you’d start a blog about kpop but then that would definitely be a lot of work. There are Too many idols. Too many songs put out so it’s hard to keep tabs on all of them. So it’s okay don’t put too much pressure on yourself.

Yay! Glad to meet another kpop fan too! 🙂 I’m an Army, but I also enjoy a lot of other groups, including EXO, who was one of my earlier groups I listened to. Growl will forever be one of my fav songs 🙂 I definitely stay away from fan wars too. I just don’t fully get them since I listen to kpop because I love music, and I like a lot of different music. And just because one group is my favorite doesn’t mean I don’t still love the music from other groups. There’s just too much great music to enjoy in kpop 🙂
Yes, I feel like if I did a kpop site, I would need to be full time with that, and I’m pretty much already that with Kdrama Kisses, so definitely not enough time, lol. But yes, at least I can just enjoy it rather than trying to keep up with producing content 🙂

Really? Bts was one of the earlier groups I listened to before I really got into EXO. In my opinion, I need you and run was their best era.
Growl is really great. I think that’s the song that made exo, well exo. That’s also the era before all the drama with the Chinese members 😢
But I’m really proud of BTS and becoming a global superstar. They really deserve it. They are so talented, hardworking but despite all that very grounded.

My dream actually is to save up enough money, go to Korea,buy vip tickets and go to a meet and greet. It’s really different watching them live.

Haha, our kpop journey was opposite 🙂 I got into EXO around 2014, but didn’t get into BTS until the end of 2016 with Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Choosing a best era would be sooo hard for me! Each era has a little something special. Blood, Sweat, and Tears is my fav song of theirs though 🙂
Yeah, Growl was such massive hit and everybody knew about it. For good reason 🙂 Now I’m jamming to Love Shot these days, hehe

Blood, sweat and tears was aesthetically beautiful. They’ve come a really long way in terms of music, production, talent and FASHION. I’ve seen alot of the recent performance of BTS in the year end shows and wow, their stage presence is amazing. They never fail to live up to expectations.
Love shot is my all time favourite jam as of the moment. Can I just say … they are all sexy. Most especially Kai, Suho and chanyeol. Chocolate abs. 😊 This concept suited them.

Yay! We’re both jamming to Love Shot right now! I agree, it really was a great concept for them. And Kai just killed it as always. I think it was their comeback stage where he wore the red suit from the music video where he just owned it! He does the sexy concept like no other, hehe 😉

They were definitely the highlight of MMA. I hope they continue to grow even bigger this year. Although it’s sad to read in some articles about them struggling emotionally. Was it Jin who said that they almost disbanded earlier in 2018. I’m not too sure, correct me if I’m wrong. Fame has definitely taken a toll on them 😢
Ohhhh yes I think that was on Music Bank. He totally shined in that red suit. 😌Surprisingly Baekhyun caught me off guard in this come back. He was so stable in all his performances and his dancing was so on point. Did you notice that their live performances are getting more stable? They are totally singing live for this comeback. In one year end show they performed live for 10 minutes straight, you can literally hear them catching their breath at the end of the performance.

I hope this year is even better for them too 🙂 Yes, it was really sad to hear about their struggles, particularly Jin’s. I actually figured the topic of disbanding would come up though since they renewed their contracts towards the end of 2018. It was for another seven years, so of course they would probably at least consider what they wanted to do with their futures and that would be an option. I really hope they have found ways to rest and be happier moving forward.
I think many kpop stars probably go through similar experiences. It’s a really tough industry and is exhausting both physically and mentally. We just don’t get to hear about it that much. Hoping everyone in the industry is able to stay positive.
Oh yes, their live performances just keep getting better! I’m glad to see that live singing it starting to become more popular again. And of course EXO are pros so they know how to rise to the occasion. All in and still very stable 🙂

Ohhhh so that was about their contract renewal. Now I’m finally following. But to renew together definitely speaks of their relationship with each other. So I’m happy.
Kpop industry is brutal. It just seems glamorous but it’s tough. After having watched a lot of documentaries and reading articles online it totally opened my mind on this. There are also blogs posted on YouTube made by those trainees who didn’t make it. Their stories are so sad😢
I think experience really matters. Experience and talent=brilliant performances. I think EXO and BTS Definies that.

Yes, I’m so glad that they will all be able to stay together. They seem to be very close, so it makes since for it to be an all or nothing sort of thing.
Kpop really is a brutal industry. It’s hard to enough to succeed in it and then those that do still have a tough road. It’s crazy that sometimes very successful groups remain quite poor because of having to pay back training fees and such. So I understand fans wanting to really support their favs because of just how tough it is.
Completely agree! There’s a reason groups like BTS and EXO are at the top of the industry. Both are so talented, hard working, and have huge fan bases rallying behind them. And they give us truly fantastic music and performances that are unique and special 🙂
