Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter Korean Drama - Moon Chae Won

We’ve got a 6 minute long preview trailer out for the upcoming tvN drama Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter (or Gyeryong Fairy Tale) starring Yoon Hyun Min (Witch’s Court)and Moon Chae Won (Criminal Minds).

It’s a whole lot of fun and shows the humorous and fantastical scenario our characters are in. I’m particularly liking the budding bromance between Yoon Hyun Min and Seo Ji Hoon. And I’m really looking forward to watching Moon Chae Won’s journey to find her husband. This looks really cute!

Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter is based on a webtoon about a 699 year old fairy (Moon Chae Won) who lost her winged clothing that allows her to travel to heaven. She looks for the reincarnation of her dead husband in hopes of finding the clothes while she works at a mountain cafe and meets a professor (Yoon Hyun Min). The drama comes from the PD of Madame Antoine and Could We Marry?

Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter is scheduled to premiere November 5 on tvN.

I’m sorry, I am running a bit behind on reading posts this week, but am in the middle of catching up again 😊😊
Having just seen the full trailer of this series I a bit torn. On the one hand I really am a huge fan of Moon Chae Won as I said…but on the other hand I don’t think that this is a series that I would enjoy very much, as it seems like pretty much a full on comedy. Still, I’m going to give it a fair chance 😊😊

  No problem, the posts are ready and waiting for you whenever you get the chance 🙂 Yes, it does look like a more humorous and whimsical sort of drama. It looks perfect for Moon Chae Won though. But it could easily be one of those that deepens the story as it progresses and tones down the humor. I guess we will see 🙂
