Boyfriend (Encounter) Korean Drama - Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo

I’ve been anticipating the first trailer for the upcoming tvN drama Boyfriend (also known as Encounter) starring Park Bo Gum (Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) and Song Hye Kyo (Descendants of the Sun), and we finally have it!

It’s a lovely trailer that depicts Park Bo Gum carefree and enjoying life in color shots while Song Hye Kyo seems more unhappy in black and white. Then the two meet at a very scenic water shot and the color washes over the black and white as they smile at each other. Very beautiful and romantic!

Boyfriend is an opposites story that follows the complicated romance between a free-spirited ordinary man (Park Bo Gum) who seems to have nothing and the daughter (Song Hye Kyo) of a politician who seems to have everything.

Boyfriend is scheduled to premiere November 28 on tvN.

Wow, this really was a seriously cool trailer. I loved the use of the colours. Especially the final shot with the water. Can’t say much about the series itself yet of course, but the trailer eally does look very promising 😊

  It really was well done. They really did well with the editing and putting it together to make for a very lovely and romantic trailer. I’m certainly hoping for a solid romance with it 🙂
