Revenge is Back Korean Drama - Kwak Dong Yeon

Could this drama get any better? We now have Kwak Dong Yeon (My ID is Gangnam Beauty) joining the cast of the upcoming SBS drama Revenge is Back (or Bok Soo’s Back). He joins Yoo Seung Ho (I’m Not a Robot) and Jo Bo Ah (Goodbye to Goodbye) who will star.

Kwak Dong Yeon is set to play a chairman at the high school. But seriously though, what do we need to do to get this man a lead role? He’s such a talented actor, but he keeps playing second lead and supporting roles. At least he just makes this already great cast even better though. I will be excited as always to see him in a new role!

Revenge is Back is a romantic comedy about a man (Yoo Seung Ho)who is wrongly accused of committing violence at school because of his first love (Jo Bo Ah) and is expelled. Then as an adult, he returns to the school for revenge but finds himself out of place and in the middle of another situation.

Revenge is Back is looking to air in December on SBS.

It’s really weird how some actors just can’t seem to get a break and be cast as leads, even though they are more than capable of it. Oh well, who knows, maybe one day 😊

  I know. I think this is third actor I’ve wrote about in the last week or so that seems to be perpetually stuck in second lead roles. It really is a shame since all of them are very talented. I definitely think Kwak Dong Yeon deserves a lead role. But at least I know he will still be awesome in the drama, and I will thoroughly enjoy seeing him 🙂
